The aim of the class is to teach FUNCTIONAL FITNESS; proper alignment + engagement of targeted muscles in a coordinated breath for optimal weight bearing movement
Content:
-strength building exercises using free weights from standing & kneeling positions to develop bone & muscle and increase stability
-pilates mat exercises performed on back, belly or side-lying for joint health, core-strength and coordination
-qi gong exercises to retain sustainable energy, improve balance and calm the nerves

No experience necessary & walk-ins are welcome.
This class will require ease of getting up & down from standing to a floor mat. If uncertain whether the class is right for your fitness level or condition,
check with Philippa before registering.
